Privacy Policy for the ThatsNext iOS App

ThatsNext is an iOS app for structuring your day chronologically. It helps you organize events, categories, notes, checklists, images, reminders, and optional calendar events clearly on your device.

2. Basic Principle

The app is designed so that personal data is processed as locally as possible on your device. ThatsNext does not operate a dedicated server, does not provide its own user account system, and does not use tracking, advertising, or analytics tools.

3. Data That May Be Processed in the App

Depending on how you use ThatsNext, the app may process the following data:

• events and appointments you create in the app
• categories, colors, and symbols
• notes
• checklists
• images you optionally add
• reminder times and local notification settings
• optional calendar events if you allow calendar access

This data is not transmitted to the operator.

4. Local Storage

Content created in the app is stored locally on your device. If iOS, iCloud, device backups, or system features back up or synchronize data, this happens through Apple services and your settings, not through a dedicated ThatsNext server.

5. Calendar Access

ThatsNext may optionally request access to your iOS calendar to show or import calendar events in the day overview. Calendar access is voluntary. The app remains generally usable without calendar access. Calendar data is not transmitted to the operator.

6. Notifications

ThatsNext may use local iOS notifications for reminders. Notifications are scheduled locally on your device. The app does not use remote push notifications through a dedicated server.

7. Photos/Images

If you add an image to an event, the image is processed only for that purpose and stored locally. The app accesses images only when you allow this or actively select an image. Images are not transmitted to the operator.

8. No Analytics, Tracking, or Advertising

ThatsNext does not use advertising identifiers, tracking, external analytics tools, or personalized advertising.

9. TestFlight/Beta

If you test the app through TestFlight, feedback, screenshots, and crash information may be sent to the developer through Apple's TestFlight system when you use those features. Processing through TestFlight is handled by Apple under Apple's terms and privacy notices.

If you contact us by email, the information you provide will be used to process your request.

11. Legal Bases

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where processing is necessary to provide app functionality. Where you voluntarily grant permissions, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. For handling requests and further developing the app, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR may apply.

12. User Rights

Within the limits of applicable law, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection, withdrawal of consent you have given, and the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

13. Changes

This privacy policy may be updated if app features or legal requirements change.
